POE Blight: Master Missions Mechanic Changed And Improvements

Aug 26, 2019

It looks like a regularity that GGG would reveal some of the changes, improvements and guidance before a new expansion, it also does so in Blight, POE 3.8.0, to make the players figure out the brand new game mode in advance. Since the announcement of the expansion's name and gameplay last week, GGG has released more messages in the following week, which included the changes and improvements in the Master missions.

Masters are set as NPCs in the game, they are responsible for providing players with a series of missions to complete, and each of them has unique mechanics and rewards to reap, which means that you can’t use the same skills to deal with all Masters.

Almost every afternoon, the master missions will be updated on the Atlas, and only one in a day, you can encounter them in the wild on most zones.

In Blight, GGG has guaranteed to make changes to the master missions in Atlas, and shared some guidance with you before its release. You can buy some Poe Currency to enhance your character skills and play better now.

In the past, you have to log in to the game every day and actively execute those Master missions, otherwise, you will miss out on Master mission opportunities. But in Blight, the Master missions are still updated every day on your Atlas, appearing as a symbol over certain maps, when running  maps, more Master missions will be added. With the update, there is a list on the right-hand side of your Atlas to calculate how many missions you have completed, each day the system can automatically earn a number of Master missions for you, even if you don’t use them, they are still on your tracker until they have been used.

GGG is trying to let the players decide what they are doing in POE Blight through the new Mission accumulation system, put it briefly, you no longer need to see as many as masters possible, but you can choose to run missions through mapping with the way you like in the time you decide.

For quite a few players, it is pretty good to release the stress via those ways, and the master missions you encounter can be reduced, for someone else, they are still allowed to see more.
