What To Prepare Before You Dive Into Path Of Exile 2’s Extremely Difficult Endgame Content? - Tips & Strategies
After you complete all the game content in Normal and Cruel difficulties provided to you by Path of Exile 2 Early Access, you will enter the second half of the entire game, which is the endgame content that most players are very troubled by. In this content that differs completely from the first half, you will need to learn new ways to navigate the game, judge the value of items, and learn the ability to use new functions to ensure that your exploration is in the best state.
Generally speaking, when players reach the endgame stage, they are already familiar enough with most of the mechanisms and builds in POE 2 to cope with most challenges. However, given that the difficulty here is several times that of the previous game content, you may need to learn about some of the special mechanisms and knowledge in advance according to the introduction in this guide. The tips and strategies provided here may bring you a better endgame experience.

1. Use Some Loot Filters
As you explore the endgame in POE 2 and explore Atlas of Worlds, enemies or bosses here will drop a lot of loot. At this time, you need to learn some loot to judge which loot will have a greater benefit to your build, such as POE 2 Currency, which can be used to upgrade gear, and Magic-quality Flask, which is very important in combat.
In general, it is difficult for you to see what specific effect this item will have on your build directly, so you can use some loot filters. They will highlight those valuable or useful loot in a pile of loot and hide those that are not suitable for your build or not worth picking up.

But here I need to remind you that it is best to use loot filters in some maps that use advanced Waystones, because with the help of this Waystone, the map you explore will become more difficult, but the loot provided to you will also be a lot, and even cover your entire screen without filtering.
2. Focus On Gear With Rune Sockets And High Quality
Although I just said that you don’t need to pick up all the loot, gear with rune sockets or high quality deserves your special attention. After you obtain these items and salvage them, you will obtain Armorer’s Scrap, Blacksmith’s Whetstone, and Shards, which can be used as materials for Artificer’s Orbs that can add rune sockets to any of your gear.

By the way, these crafting materials are useful in themselves and can be exchanged for some currencies you often use when making builds. For example, 2-3 Armorer’s Scrap plus 5-6 Blacksmith’s Whetstone can be exchanged at Currency Exchange for a POE 2 Exalted Orb, which can add a useful affix to the gear in your build and make it more effective.
If you follow the first tip, you can set these items with high quality or rune sockets as exceptions when using the loot filter to avoid missing these important items. Or if you don’t have much help, you can choose based on the description of the item: the little white square on the description means it has a rune socket, and then see if the item has Superior in the title. You can also see if the loot has these two important pieces of information on their description by hovering your mouse over them.
3. Use Portals Early
In the endgame in POE 2, after you activate a Waystone for a map on Atlas, six portals appear in Ziggurat Refuge, each representing an opportunity to use a Town Portal to return to Refuge during exploration. Generally, you can use this as an opportunity to refresh Flasks and Charms, clear inventory space, or readjust your build to handle more difficult map challenges.
When you die on a map, all portals are closed, and you can only use a Waystone to return to Ziggurat Refuge and try again, but only if you don’t destroy the map node. So you should use the portals as early as possible in the process of exploring the map, so that there is a low probability of running out of resources.
4. Add Some Gear With Elemental Resistances
When you are playing the previous game content, you may have always adhered to the rule of standardizing Elemental Resistances, which can help you deal with most situations. However, some maps or enemy types in the endgame will threaten you with specific and very high elemental damage, so you should try to use some gear with specific Elemental Resistances to counter them before exploring.
For example, high Fire Resistance will be suitable for areas with a lot of Fire enemies, and high Poison defense stats will be suitable for areas with a lot of Poison enemies. If you don’t need these gears in your current exploration, you can save them in your Stash, because you never know when you will encounter a map that can cause 200% specific elemental damage and a lot of elemental enemies. These gears will increase your survivability far more than those combat modifiers.
5. Select Atlas Skills That Have Buffs To Waystone Rarity & Drop Chance
Once you enter Atlas and complete ten Tier 1 or higher Waystones in a map, an NPC named Doryani will give you a book that grants you 2 Atlas Passive Skill Points, which are only applicable to maps in Atlas.
While nodes on Atlas Skill Tree affect maps in a variety of ways, you should prioritize two points of gain, the rarity and drop rate of Waystones. The more Waystones are valuable and available, the more rewards you will get from exploring maps here. Generally, these passive skill nodes are to the right of the starting point of Atlas Skill Tree and in the lower right corner.
The above is the preparation of information you need to know before exploring the endgame of POE 2. I hope that with the help of these strategies and tips, you can explore the second half of the game more easily and smoothly, and establish your own exploration awareness and playing style in the process. I wish you a happy game!

Path of Exile 2 Patch 0.5 endgame has entered a phase that truly tests the overall strength of a build. High damage is important, but for long-term farming, it's also necessary to reliably handle high-difficulty maps, have sufficient survivability, and be able to challenge pinnacle bosses.
Based on these criteria, three endgame builds are particularly noteworthy: Ice Shot Pathfinder, Spark Storm Oracle, and Flameblast Gemling Legionnaire.
If you're still looking for a Path of Exile 2 build that can handle everything from mapping to high-difficulty boss content, these three are worth considering.
Ice Shot Pathfinder
If I had to choose one of these three builds specifically for long-term map farming, I would prioritize Ice Shot Pathfinder. This build is perfect for Path of Exile 2 players who enjoy ranged DPS and high mobility. From a practical standpoint, Ice Shot is sufficient for most regular mob clearing. Herald of Ice further enhances cold damage and mob clearing efficiency, while Tornado Shot provides additional projectile options.
When facing high-durability Path of Exile 2 enemies, Barrage is better suited for focused fire. Combined with Freezing Mark for Priority Targets, it significantly alleviates the output pressure on this build in single - target encounters.
Ice Shot Pathfinder doesn't need to withstand high damage head-on. You can improve survivability through range and flexible positioning. When encountering dangerous boss mechanics or dense attacks, quickly create distance and readjust your position.
Ice Shot Pathfinder's greatest strength lies in its mapping. Ice Shot boasts excellent projectile coverage, and combined with Movement Speed, ranged damage, and the control effects of Cold Damage, it allows you to quickly traverse PoE 2 maps while maintaining a safe distance. Once your gear is fully developed, ordinary enemy groups will hardly hinder your progress.
It's important to note that this build emphasizes weapon progression. Bows are one of the core items in this build. As map difficulty increases, you need to continuously upgrade Weapon Elemental Damage, Attack Speed, Projectile Scaling, and other offensive stats.
If weapon upgrades don't keep up, overall damage will decline. While this build can start with relatively inexpensive gear, to maximize its potential, you'll still need to invest heavily in Path of Exile 2 Currency later on.
Spark Storm Oracle
If you want a POE 2 Caster that balances excellent map coverage, sustained spell damage, and mobility, Spark Storm Oracle is a highly recommended choice.
Spark is its primary damage skill. It can continuously fire projectiles forward and in the surrounding area, eliminating the need for precise targeting, making it particularly convenient for clearing maps.
Mana Tempest is a crucial offensive tool for Spark Storm Oracle, increasing DPS when Lightning Damage needs to be maximized, providing a stronger output window when dealing with high-health targets quickly in Path of Exile 2.
Explosive Transmutation, Blasphemy, and Refutation supplement DPS, while Mana Remnants and Remnants of Kalguur help you regenerate Mana resources.
Blink is also an indispensable mobility tool, allowing for rapid map traversal and timely repositioning in Return of the Ancients Boss Encounters. Spark itself relies on Projectile Coverage, while Blink helps you proactively find better DPS positions, making Spark Storm Oracle combat rhythm more proactive than traditional stationary casters.
You need to continuously cast Spark to cover the battlefield with Projectiles, use Mana Tempest as needed, and maintain a suitable DPS position through movement. It doesn't simply rely on stationary spell-casting; instead, it maintains damage pressure while circulating.
Boss farming is another strength of Spark Storm Oracle. Spark doesn't depend on a single burst; instead, it maintains damage pressure throughout the entire encounter by continuously generating projectiles.
However, Spark's performance isn't entirely consistent across all PoE 2 boss encounters. Arena layout, boss movement patterns, and projectile behavior can all affect actual hit rates. If the arena is open, or if the boss frequently moves out of the projectiles' coverage area, some of Spark's advantages will be diminished.
Mapping is one scenario where Spark Storm Oracle excels. Spark inherently possesses a large coverage area, allowing it to continuously clear surrounding monsters with no need to target enemies one by one. Combined with Blink, you can quickly advance the map while allowing projectiles to continuously deal with enemy groups behind you.
Flameblast Gemling Legionnaire
Flameblast Gemling Legionnaire is the number one endgame build for Path of Exile 2 Patch 0.5. If your goal is to tackle challenging endgame content, rather than simply pursuing the fastest mapping speed, this build offers superior overall performance.
Flameblast, as the core damage skill, combined with Scouring Flame, Ignite, Concentrated Area, and Considered Casting, allows you to unleash a large amount of fire damage within a suitable output window.
Oil Grenade and Elemental Weakness primarily handle utility, helping to manage tough targets and supplement area coverage; Mana Remnants, Wind Dancer, and Virtuous Barrier further enhance resource management and survivability.
Its mapping speed isn't the fastest. When facing regular enemies, you need to control PoE 2 battlefield and find a suitable position. Against bosses, you need to observe the attack patterns and mechanics, then use the brief openings to unleash Flameblast. This playstyle does sacrifice some smoothness in terms of controls, but it results in a higher single-hit damage ceiling.
Regarding progression, it doesn't require a complete Path of Exile 2 endgame gear from the start. Early on, prioritize building Core Fire Damage and basic spell gear, then gradually add Defensive Gear, Support Setup, and other enhancements.
The real worthwhile investment in PoE 2 Currency is further improving Flameblast's damage ceiling in the late game, while ensuring sufficient survivability to support higher difficulty encounters. Once the build is complete, the advantages of Flameblast Gemling Legionnaire will become increasingly apparent.
While its map-clearing speed might not match the other two builds, Flameblast's burst damage makes combat exceptionally easy against high-health enemies or challenging bosses. If you don't mind the increased movement and skill required, this build's late-game performance is definitely worth anticipating.
Overall, among these three top-tier Endgame builds for Path of Exile 2 Patch 0.5, Ice Shot Pathfinder is better suited for those seeking fast mapping, Spark Storm Oracle is better for players who want a balance between map clearing and bossing, while Flameblast Gemling Legionnaire is better suited for those focusing on high-tier content and boss progression. You can choose based on your playstyle.
Exiles, have you been plagued by the sluggishness and frequent deaths of summoned creatures in Path of Exile 3.29? If you want to say goodbye to this pain but still want to continue using the summoner build, then Raise Zombie of Slamming build might be your answer.
It revives the glory of the zombie build, with smooth and fluid controls, finally freeing our hands completely when farming.
Furthermore, using Necromancer ascendancy class, along with a moderate PoE currency budget, we can unleash tens of millions of damage with the help of Raise Zombie of Slamming, crushing bosses in the blink of an eye!
Damage Mechanics
Of course, because of Necromancer and zombie gameplay, the community usually calls this build Zombiemancer, and the core idea of this build is to address the shortcomings of the original zombie mechanics summoned by Raise Zombie of Slamming one by one.
Because the base damage of zombies in PoE 3.29 isn't particularly impressive, we need to introduce Necromancer's Ascendancy passive: Unnatural Strength, which converts all physical damage into Chaos Damage.
A Severed in Sleep one-handed sword is also essential for this build. This allows us to maximize DPS through double critical strike chance, increased critical strike damage, and the significant base Chaos Damage provided by Envy aura.
Attack Speed
After addressing the zombies' damage cap, another issue we need to resolve is attack speed.
The base attack speed of the zombies summoned by Raise Zombie of Slamming is only 0.85, making our gameplay feel particularly sluggish.
Replica Maata's Teaching weapon doubles the attack speed, completely changing the zombies' clunky and slow performance in Path of Exile.
With the damage and attack speed adjustments mentioned earlier, we can now ensure that zombies in the game can both deal burst damage and keep up with the pace of combat, thus supporting a smooth and fluid gameplay experience.
Core Equipment
Helmet
It's worth mentioning that while the unique Bone Helmet: Ancient Skull provides a significant increase in summon critical hit rate and triggers Whisper buff, increasing their damage and attack speed by 50%, the cost is that summons lose 5% of their life per second.
To address this, we can obtain 5% Minion Life Regeneration through nodes in Passive Skill Tree and combine it with the existing resistance from the weapon Severed in Sleep to compensate for summon Chaos Resistance, thereby mitigating continuous damage and ensuring zombie survival.
Additionally, through Allflame Crafting in the current Path of Exile 3.29, Minions are Aggressive can be used as the base affix for the helmet, which is also the best choice, but PoE currency cost is too high.
An alternative is to use the +2 Summon Gem Level affix to upgrade the levels of Spectres and Zombies.
Even without Minions Are Aggressive, Whisper effect of Ancient Skull can indirectly increase the attack range of summons, having little impact on daily boss battles in the game.
Body Armor
Theoretically, the best choice for chest armor is Skin of the Loyal with affixes that increase gem level obtained through corruption, but this is also too expensive.
An alternative, The Covenant, can also provide us with additional base Chaos Damage, resulting in approximately a 65% damage increase.
Amulet
Ashes of the Stars amulet is crucial for our zombie summoning build.
Because Raise Zombie of Slamming's mechanic is to add one zombie for every 20% quality, this amulet increases its quality by another 30%.
The original 30% quality, plus the 30% from the amulet, allows us to stack a maximum of +3 zombies.
Combined with the level effect of Congregation Support, the maximum number of zombies increases by 2, allowing our summoned creatures to deal significant damage.
Defense Mechanics
For blocking and recovery, we can use Bone Offering and Amulet Anoint to give zombies a 75% attack and spell block rate, along with life recovery from blocking, greatly reducing the probability of zombies dying in PoE boss battles.
For our character, Necromancer, since dual-wielding weapons prevents her from wielding a shield, we can utilize Mistress of Sacrifice Ascendancy passive to extend Bone Offering's effect to herself.
Spell block relies on Elegant Hubris to randomly convert nodes in Passive Skill Tree into Spell Blocks.
Additionally, Leech Mastery provides substantial life recovery, further enhancing Necromancer's survivability.
Skill Links
For boss battles, this Raise Zombie of Slamming build can use Ruthless Support to enhance the slam damage of individual attacks, while deliberately avoiding Minion Damage support gem to prevent it from reducing the zombies' maximum life.
When clearing maps and monsters, Ruthless Support can be replaced with Annihilation Support, allowing the zombies' damage and area-of-effect skills to chain together, resulting in incredibly smooth gameplay.
To further enhance the output and survivability of this summoned team, you can equip Animated Guardian with Kingmaker, providing +50% critical strike damage to all nearby allies.
Overall, this Necromancer and Raise Zombie of Slamming build is a mid-budget option, using Replica Maata's Teaching as its core equipment, with high flexibility in adjusting the remaining components.
While Raise Zombie of Slamming might not be the strongest option in PoE 3.29, as a summoner build, you don't need to do much preparation before boss fights, and the overall gameplay is very comfortable and easy.
If you enjoy playing summoner builds, believe in the potential of Raise Zombie of Slamming and Necromancer!
Breach Fortresses is a great farming strategy for currency in Path of Exile Patch 3.29, and its biggest advantage is its simplicity.
It doesn't require a particularly complex process; most of the time you just need to clear mobs and collect loot. If you want to farm a lot of currency while watching TV, this mechanic is perfect for you.
This guide details how to run this Path of Exile Patch 3.29 Breach Fortresses farming strategy.
Advantages
Unstable Breaches were heavily nerfed in POE Patch 3.29, but Breach Fortresses were largely unaffected. They remain in excellent condition, and Scarab's cost for running this farm is very low. Therefore, in the current Curse of the Allflame League, Breach Fortresses remain the best way to farm Path of Exile Currency.
Each map's fortresses spawn many Wombgifts and Hiveblood, allowing you to kill wave after wave of monsters and obtain a wealth of random loot.
Combining this strategy with Tier 16.5 maps, especially 8-Mod maps, PoE maps with more currency mods, or even 8-Mod Tier 16.5 and Delirium Orbs, will further enhance the rewards.
High pack size and quantity allow you to kill more monsters and obtain substantial amounts of raw currency, raw divines, and other high-value currency. In addition, Genesis Tree remains very powerful and is another important source of income for this strategy.
Different types of Wombgifts can be further converted; Foulborn unique items are very valuable, and even some basic PoE crafting bases, with the right item base and suitable fracture, can sell for 5, 10, or even 15 divines. This is also a very interesting playstyle, serving as an alternative to the basic Path of Exile tower defense mechanic like Blight. And currently, the returns from Breach Fortress are far higher than Blight's .
Workflow
Upon entering the map, the classic workflow is to first use Boss Rush to exclude Boss Altars from the flow. You can then hire a mercenary, as this strategy utilizes the extra damage from mercenaries.
Mercenaries are especially effective in the last phase of Breach Fortress because they can continuously deal damage from a fixed location, essentially gaining extra free damage. Upon entering PoE map, prioritize finding Quant Altars; if you encounter Duplication Altars, you can use them directly. After completing these preparations, enter Breach Fortress.
Scarab
The only Scarab required for this PoE farming strategy is Breach Scarab of the Marshall, which transforms Breach Hives into Hive Fortresses and is the core of the entire playstyle.
The remaining Scarabs can be adjusted based on your budget and character strength. Monstrous Lineage is the most direct option, increasing Magic Pack Size and allowing more monsters to spawn in Breach Fortress, thus improving the rewards of the final Loot Explosion.
If your character is strong enough, you can also add Scarabs of Wisps to increase the number of wisps for numerous monsters. While the enemies you encounter will be more dangerous, Breach Fortress itself has enhancements from Aith, so the overall difficulty is usually still manageable.
If you don't want to increase the combat difficulty, you can use 8 Mod Map Farming instead. Combining it with Cartography Scarabs of Escalation and Cartography Scarabs of Corruption will reliably yield more 8 mod maps, increasing the value of Breach Fortress's output.
Maps
There are no strict restrictions on the maps used for Breach Fortress Farming. 8 Mod Maps are the ideal choice, and you can also challenge yourself with 8 Mod Delirious Maps. If your character's strength is insufficient, you can also use 6 Mod Maps, but the overall rewards will be lower.
The more map mods you have, the higher Quantity and Pack Size, resulting in more Blood and Gifts. Therefore, high-difficulty maps are usually a better choice. Tier 16.5 maps, in particular, often offer higher pack sizes, and more monsters mean a higher final loot.
This playstyle has an additional advantage: some map ground effects don't fully take effect within Breach Fortresses, but the map's inherent Quantity, Pack Size, and other attributes still apply.
Therefore, some seemingly cumbersome map mods don't have as significant an impact on the core combat areas of Fortresses in PoE as one might imagine.
Atlas Passive Tree
Path of Exile Atlas Passive Tree should be built around the benefits of Breach Fortresses. You don't need to aim for 100% Breach Chance, as the map itself provides a base spawn probability. Combined with Blocker Nodes, you can usually achieve a relatively stable Breach Chance.
You should prioritize Hives, Fortresses, Hive Blood, Womb Gifts, and Nodes that increase monster numbers. Protracted Siege is also worth investing in; it increases waves of Hiveborn Monsters, allowing Fortress battles to last longer, while also providing more monsters and loot.
If using Templar Astrolabes, consider Speaker of Dead to reduce the number of Tormented Spirits surrounding Path of Exile bosses. Finally, if you plan to repeatedly farm the same map, choosing a familiar map with efficient traversal is crucial; stable routes and shorter completion times directly impact overall farming efficiency.
Genesis Tree
Another important source of income from Breach Fortress is Genesis Tree. Farming Breach Fortress yields a large amount of Womb Gifts; different types of Womb Gifts are used for different PoE crafting purposes.
In Path of Exile, Ancient Wombgifts are more valuable, while Mysterious Wombgifts are primarily used to further convert into Ancient Wombgifts through Genesis Tree.
Provisioning Wombgifts typically have a higher yield, but the direct value of a single gift is relatively limited. A common use is to craft equipment with Provisioning Gifts and to find marketable Crafting Bases through mechanisms like Fracture.
Unique Tree offers a higher yield cap. You can adjust relevant nodes to increase the drop rate of unique items in specific slots, such as belts, jewels, and shields.
These slots have the potential to yield high-value Foulborn unique items. The specific slots chosen should be adjusted based on Curse of the Allflame League economy and your personal farm goals.
If you prefer to directly obtain PoE Currency, you can choose Currency branch of Genesis Tree. Fertilising Genesis Trees grants a Lucky effect to Currency Rolls, increasing the chances of obtaining rarer Currency results.
Prodigal Offspring focuses on increasing additional output. Both improve overall returns from the perspectives of currency quality and quantity, respectively. You can choose different RNG directions based on market conditions and your personal risk tolerance.
It's important to note that because the final result is affected by RNG, currency rarity, and league economy, it's difficult to definitively say that any one configuration yields the highest return.
Path of Exile Patch 3.29 Breach Fortress combines simple controls, a stable number of monsters, and a large number of loot. As long as your character can reliably handle the enemies in the fortress, you can repeat this process continuously. This playstyle is particularly enjoyable for players who prefer low-skill, high-efficiency farming.
Path of Exile 2 uses Tablets in place of PoE 1's Scarabs to make maps more rewarding, but this system does not work as well as Scarabs did and has several issues.
These problems have become even more noticeable in PoE 2 Patch 0.5.0. Although the official team wants PoE 2 to have more differences from PoE 1, addressing these issues and providing players with a better experience should be more important.
Tablet Problems
Tablet Power
The gap between high-quality Tablets and low-quality Tablets is enormous. Maps using high-quality Tablets can generate PoE 2 currency roughly 20 to 30 times more efficiently than maps using ordinary Tablets.
Unfriendly to New Players
This is particularly unfriendly to new players, as they may not understand the differences between Tablets and simply place three Magic Tablets into Atlas. As a result, they can run 30 to 40 maps and get almost nothing in return, effectively wasting their time.
In addition, players must first defeat Arbiter of Ash to craft Rare Tablets. Rare Tablets have four modifiers, making them at least twice as powerful as Magic Tablets.
This means new players are already at a significant disadvantage the moment they enter Atlas. That is harmful to the game's long-term health as well as the stability of its economy.
High-Quality Tablets Are Difficult to Obtain
Another issue is that top-tier Tablets are extremely powerful, while their best modifiers are exceptionally rare. This pushes the entry requirements for high-end farming strategies to an astonishing level. Once a particular farming strategy becomes popular, the value of Tablets required for it quickly rises.
If you are facing a shortage of high-quality Tablets, you can actually buy PoE 2 Currency at PoEcurrency.com to skip the accumulation phase and start farming directly with high-value Tablets.
Because Tablet modifier pool contains a large number of useless modifiers, while the weights for desirable modifiers are set too low, supply and demand inevitably become unbalanced. Players either cannot obtain enough Divine Orbs to acquire good Tablets, or they decide that the investment simply is not worthwhile.
City Maps
The advantage of City Maps is that they provide a fourth Tablet slot, which roughly translates into 33% more map drops. They are far more rewarding than other ordinary maps, to the point that players have little incentive to run regular maps.
Difficulty Finding High-Quality Tablets
As mentioned above, Tablet modifier pool contains many useless modifiers, which keeps the supply of high-quality Tablets extremely limited.
To pursue efficient farming, players have to spend a great deal of time filtering through and acquiring high-quality Tablets on trading websites before they can even begin mapping. Sometimes, finding suitable Tablets takes longer than the actual farming itself.
If you choose not to acquire Tablets in pursuit of maximum returns, you are effectively wasting your time running maps with inferior rewards.
The chance of finding a Tablet with four excellent modifiers is comparable to finding an item with six Tier 1 modifiers. It is almost impossible to have one sitting in your stash. Either way, the system disrupts your farming rhythm and wastes your time.
Tablet Modifiers
Obtaining the best combinations of Tablet modifiers is extremely difficult, and they cannot be crafted through targeted methods. This directly causes high-quality Tablets to be worth several or even dozens of Divine Orbs. In some cases, this can make certain high-yield farming strategies completely impractical because Tablets required to start the strategy cost more than the potential returns.
On the other hand, because Tablets can be reused multiple times, using an average Tablet means losing out on the enormous returns that the same map could have generated with a high-quality Tablet. This makes the system less flexible than Scarabs.
Solutions
Increase Weight of Desirable Modifiers
The biggest problem with Tablets is that desirable modifiers appear too infrequently, while there are too many useless ones. The official team could increase the weights of desirable modifiers while removing most of the unnecessary modifiers.
Alternatively, some low-value modifiers could be moved to Tablet implicits. Examples include increased Gold Find, Increased Experience, and a higher chance for Shrines to appear.
If these were turned into base implicits and Divine Orbs could be used on Tablets to reroll their implicit modifiers, this could directly increase the supply of high-quality Tablets on the market while also creating a new way to consume Divine Orbs.
Add More Tablet Crafting Options
In PoE 2 Patch 0.5.0, with Jewel system already receiving support from more crafting currencies, Tablets are essentially the only part of the game still stuck with the primitive crafting process of throwing an Exalted Orb or a Transmutation Orb at them and using an Orb of Scouring when the modifiers are poor.
If some PoE 2 currencies specifically designed for Tablets could be introduced, they could not only increase the supply of high-quality Tablets on trading websites but might also create entirely new farming strategies.
Special Biome Bonuses
The official team could add interesting Tablet-specific bonuses to different biomes. This could make other areas of Atlas just as appealing and exciting as City Maps, giving players more choices when farming.
Increase Tablet Charges
This change would have both advantages and disadvantages. It could increase the value of high-quality Tablets, but having to replenish Tablets every 10 maps is certainly somewhat annoying.
Increasing the number of charges would allow players to spend more time actually farming maps instead of constantly having their rhythm interrupted while searching for the next set of three high-quality Tablets.
Tablet Preset Slots
Map Device could add Tablet Rows, allowing players to switch between three different Tablet configurations.
This would allow players to prepare three or four different Tablet combinations based on the content they discover while exploring Atlas, helping maximize returns.
This would be a major Quality of Life improvement that would make the endgame mapping experience much smoother.
Path of Exile 2 Patch 0.5.0 can be considered quite successful, as different strategies offer solid returns and players have plenty of choices. However, Tablets have been a major source of frustration for a long time. If this issue can be addressed in Patch 0.5.5 or Version 1.0, the endgame experience could become much better.
