The Undercity

Using Horadric Cube, you can transmute five Greater Tributes of Armaments into one Mythic Tribute of Armaments. This guarantees a Mythic drop, with a higher likelihood of it being an Iconic Mythic.

While navigating The Undercity, choosing the path associated with War Plans on the left can spawn a Portal Prankster. Defeating it and clearing the nearby Beacon offers a chance for an extra treasure chest to appear, which can drop a Mythic, though it is not guaranteed.

If you prefer a boss-focused route, you can select Lair of Plenty option to increase monster difficulty; note that this still requires the corresponding key.

The central path offers a chance to unlock Ultimate Nemesis Lair, which requires three Superior Lair Keys. Even if Lair doesn't spawn, carrying a Splinter of Destruction increases the spawn rate of various portals.

Blacksmith

In Diablo 4 Season 15, Blacksmith now offers two types of random crafting: Random Mythic Unique and Random Iconic Mythic Unique.

For content requiring rare keys to open chests or involving high-difficulty monsters, farming in a group is more reliable than solo play and brings you closer to obtaining a Mythic item.

Triggering Conditions

Players need to find Death's Head Idol on the world map and kill Guardians surrounding it to successfully activate Rupture Zone. Ruptures will spawn in this area, and new seasonal monster families will emerge from them.

Successfully killing them will reward players with loot, the most important of which is Pandemonium Fragments, the newest equipment upgrade material in Diablo 4 Season 14.

While, based on Blizzard's usual practices, the drop rate of Pandemonium Fragments is unlikely to be high, Pandemonium Ruptures are indeed the primary source of them.

Core Mechanics

2. Surging Rupture

Surging Ruptures typically appear in Helltide or during world event transitions, summoning stronger monsters. Correspondingly, the rewards for clearing the area also increase, making it a primary way to upgrade equipment in the mid-game.

It's important to note that completing a Surging Rupture requires not only safely defeating all monsters but also achieving a Mastery rating.
