Path Of Exile 3.20: This Build Can Easily Tank Most Things In The Game!

Jan 11, 2023

What I have right now is a wave 30 Simulacrum, including two bosses. This build is extremely tanky. But how do we scale damage well?

We use two old Quality Gems and scale the Quality to gain a incredible amount of damage for next to no investment. These two gems are Phantasmal Cremation and Phantasmal Unearth. Among them, Phantasmal Cremation gives you two percent chance to explode on nearby corpse when firing projectiles. We scale this with 50 Quality to gain it to 100 to explode a nearby corpse when firing projectiles.

Then, we spawn as many corpses as we possibly can with a high level Unearth, which we also scale with Quality to increase the Life of that corpse. This will basically gain a bunch of free damage for next to no investment, except for the cost of a high level Ashes, but damage aside. Then, how do we scale our defenses well?

We are using an Aegis Aurora combined with an Incandescent Heart. We are also CI and we are also using a Melding Of The Flash to gain as much Resistance as possible. From the Melding Of The Flash, we are scaling as much Cold Resistance as l can. This in turn puts us at 85 percent increase. You can get a bit more, if you are really looking for that. But this should be way more than you need.

And since we have a a guess, we are also scaling Armour in combined with Divine Shield, which in turn gives us a ton of Energy Radium without any Flasks or Endurance Soldiers. We are easily at 80 Physical Damage Reduction and with Flasks and Enduring Charges, we are looking upwards at 90 percent. And that's not even it because Incandescent Heart has some massive defense sponsors, for example 25 of Elemental Damage from hits taken as Chaos Damage.

Well, like I said we are CI, so we are completely immune to Chaos Damage. Overall, this is just a flat 25 Damage Reduction. And then, we have the 85 or 90, if it's a pure Physical Hit Damage Reduction after that. As an Ascendancy wishes Necromancer well because we have some great great defense bonuses and some amazing damage coming out of this Ascendancy well. We are using Mistress of Sacrifice in combination with Bone Offering to get a lot more Block, which puts us very close to the to Block cap.

the immortal build everyone forgot about in POE 3.20

Then, we are also using Corpse Pact to scale our Cast Speed to incredible levels. I think we are at 10 Cast Speed right now with Unearth, which is just downright ridiculous. Then, we use that with a combination of Essence Glutton, which increases our Mana region and Energy region to USB. This is also downright ridiculous.

Basically, as long as you are attacking, you can probably tank most of the things in the game, which makes this build very viable to do. Now what kind of gear do you need? Well, you need the Uniques in this build. You need the Incandescent Heart, the ashes and an Aegis Aurora. I think you can get this going starting at like around 30 Divine Orbs in a combination. And then you need a Phantasmal Cremation and Phantasmal Unearth.

I am also using an Enlighten Support at Level 4. You can use an Enlighten at Level 3 if you want to. But, I don't wanna sit with a bunch of Mana Reservation on my helmet if I don't need to. And we have a Enchant and Power as well. In total cost, I think I spent around 35 to 40 Divine Orbs on this build. And it can clear pretty much everything in the game. I don't have a ridiculously tanky Relic and my damage is pretty okay for what I've spent.

So, why would you want to create a build like this? Well, you can pretty much not die. I personally created it for Simulacrum forming, which has gone very well after getting Flasks fixed and everything set up properly. I don't think I've died in a Simulacrum, since I can easily face tank wave. And like I said I tried face tanking everything from the Shaper and the Slam wasn't even touching me. And the Shaper Beam was the only thing I actually wanted to move out of. But, even then my Flash were not fixed, as they are right now.

If you don't have enough Divine Orbs to make this build, you may wish to get some directly from this site. You can also get some POE Currency here, so you can get anything you want in the game more conveniently.
