What Exactly Caused Lightning Coil Shift In Popularity In POE 3.21?

Jun 29, 2023 Author: POECurrency.com

In Path of Exile 3.21 Crucible League, the Lightning Coil unique body armor quickly became one of the most popular pieces of gear in the game.

You can really begin to see this change properly when you compare this league compared to the last league 3.20 Sanctum. Through the comparison, it is not difficult to find that not only the popularity of Lightning Coil has greatly increased, but it is also applicable to all leagues.

What Exactly Caused Lightning Coil Shift In Popularity In POE 3.21?

POE 3.19 Change

Lighting Coil was buffed recently the modifier, which grants a percentage of physical damage from hits taken as lightning damage was increased from 30% to 50%. This is a huge change and overall a giant amount of damage shift gained from a single piece of gear.

But the interesting thing about this change is that it happened in 3.19 Kalandra League and it wasn’t until Crucible League that this item really caught on in popularity.

So, what happened here?

It’s often the case that these sorts of improvements to items do take a while to actually garner attention. But in the case of Lightning Coil, the popularity shift actually happened largely because of another change.

Pathfinder Rework

That was the rework of the Pathfinder ascendancy.

Now, unlike the Saboteur rework, these changes quickly made Pathfinder when one of the strongest if not the strongest ascendancy in the game right now. And the play rate of the class skyrocketed.

In the Softcore Trade League, the popularity of Pathfinder tripled from Sanctum to Crucible, and it’s just about doubled in every other league.

Flask Setup

Pathfinder’s ability to consistently have a Ruby Topaz and Sapphire Flask acted all the time makes for a relatively low investment combination with the Lightning Coil to provide great defense against all elemental damage and physical damage from hits at the same time.

The lightning resistance granted by the permanent Topaz Flask makes out gearing the huge amount of negative lightning resistance on the Lightning Coil unique body armor. It is much easier, as well.

With just the Lightning Coil equipped, half of all of the physical damage that you take from hits will be mitigated by your lightning resistance and then further still by the less damage taken modifier on the Topaz Flask itself.

Taste Of Hate

Pathfinder can then invest into a Taste of Hate unique flask whenever they’re able to afford it to replace the normal Sapphire Flask.

And with just these two uniques along with some flask effects and perhaps an Eater of Worlds Helmet Implicit for some additional physical damage shift the character can pretty much ignore physical damage hits since the large majority of that damage will now be taken as elemental damage instead.

These builds no longer need to use Determination, which is a huge deal considering how impactful auras are. They could even continue to invest into this kind of setup deep into the endgame and eventually reach 100% or close to 100% of physical damage from Hits Taken’s elemental damage instead.

You can really begin to see how popular this combination mechanics has been in the Crucible League with 89% of builds using the Lightning Coil being Pathfinder and of those builds 86% are also using Taste of Hate.

But the popularity of Lightning Coil has more to do with the lack of competition that this item has for the magnitude of damage shift that it provides.

Alternatives

The closest option is the Cloak of Flame, which is somewhat comparable it provides 40% of physical damage taken as fire damage. And this item is not specific to hits. So, it also worked for things like Bleeding, which is actually quite strong and it also provides a large amount of resistance rather than the negative resistance that the Lightning Coil has.

POE 3.21 Cloak of Flame

But realistically, the Pathfinder doesn’t really need to gear much for resistance due to the flask setup. And the rest of the modifiers on Cloak of Flame are quite weak in comparison. It lacks any kind of life. The base provides a tiny amount of Energy Shield compared to the very respectable amount of armour renovation that you gain on the Lightning Coil.

This is not as favorable of an option, with only 0.8% of players using the Cloak of Flame compared to the 7% using Lightning Coil in Softcore Trade Crucible. And after that, the options start to become a lot less comparable and unveiled gravitious armor. Thus, the Betrayal mode that can have up to 18% physical damage shift and an Essence or a Conqueror Influence body armor can have up to 15%.

With these options providing much lower amounts of damage shift, you’ll then need to start sacrificing more gear slots to pursue this kind of defense things, like the shield slot for example with the Dawnbreaker.

Conclusion

I do think it’s quite an interesting time for defenses in Path of Exile. We now have a lot of very strong options for the body armor slot. And each item has their own strengths and weaknesses. I really like that they cover a lot of ground in terms of different defense types and different synergies that can be paired with them and just a general preference towards specific ascendencies or different sides of the passive tree.

I’m not sure what the future will bring for the Lightning Coil or POE Items like the Fourth Vow. Whether these receive some sort of nerfs or if they continue to introduce other interesting competing options, only time will tell.

But, in general, I do think it’s an interesting time. There is a lot of options that you have when it comes to gearing your defenses in Path of Exile right now. And that’s a big difference compared to what it used to be even six leagues went.

The most powerful competitor of Path of Exile, Diablo 4 has been very popular recently. I don’t know what stage you are in. Are you racing against time to level up, or are you working hard to complete various in-game quests? No matter what you are doing, you will always encounter some difficulties. Therefore, I would like to recommend D4gold.com’s Diablo 4 Boosting Service here. In this way, you can achieve fast leveling, defeat difficult world bosses, obtain rare legendary items, etc. In short, this service can basically meet all your needs.

PoE 2 Patch 0.5 Has a Jewel Problem, But It's Not What You Think
PoE 2 Patch 0.5 Has a Jewel Problem, But It's Not What You Think

With Path of Exile 2 entering Patch 0.5, the build ecosystem has undergone significant changes. Numerous new mechanics, equipment, and adjustments to progression systems have prompted players to re-explore the meta, and Jewels system has gradually become a focal point of discussion.

Many players believe that the benefits provided by Jewels outweigh other progression methods, leading to a surge in high-powered builds centered on Jewels. This trend is evident in popular PoE 2 builds: different classes and skills ultimately converge on similar Passive Tree paths.

This situation is more concerning than simply overpowered stats. The most appealing aspect of Path of Exile series has always been the ability for players to create diverse characters through different interpretations.

However, now, more and more builds, in pursuit of maximum power, are prioritizing acquiring more Jewels over character development.

The Impact of Jewels

The reason Jewels have affected the entire PoE 2 environment in Patch 0.5 is simple: the benefits they provide are too high.

A good jewel provides more than just a single attribute; it offers a powerful overall boost. It can simultaneously increase damage, critical strike chance, speed, and even change the entire characters damage output.

However, if a Passive Skill Point only provides a few percentage points of improvement, while a jewel slot offers a huge benefit, then abandoning the jewel path is what needs explanation.

Therefore, the problem is not that players are deliberately chasing Jewel stacking. When one progression path provides such a significant advantage over others, players will inevitably gravitate toward the strongest option.

5-Mod Jewel

If Patch 0.5 only focused on stronger jewel attributes, its impact would be limited. What truly elevates jewels to their current status is 5-mod jewels.

In the past, crafting a good jewel required a significant amount of time and luck. You might have a few decent attributes, but you were still far from perfect. This process, while painful, maintained the value of gear crafting.

But 5-mod jewels are different. Players can use this mechanism to add extra affixes, then fix some excellent attributes using the current crafting method, and adjust the remaining ones.

The problem with this mechanism is that after the extra affixes are removed, PoE 2 still retains the expanded affix space limitation. Players can use the random reforging mechanism of PoE 2 Chaos Orbs to repeatedly adjust the remaining affixes while retaining three ideal affixes.

This changes the way top-tier jewelry is obtained. Previously, a top-tier piece of jewelry represented more of a matter of luck; now, its more like a crafting goal that can be planned and achieved.

When a system simultaneously offers high returns and high stability, it naturally becomes the goal pursued by all players.

Zahroqs Gift

5-mod jewelry increased the value of jewelry, while Zahroqs Gift gave players more opportunities to acquire jewelry. The combination of these two mechanisms created the problem in Patch 0.5.

Previously, Anoint was a system with a choice cost; players needed to consider what their characters actually lacked.

Some builds prioritize damage, some defense, and some might focus on enhancing a specific mechanic. Different PoE 2 characters have different priorities.

But with Zahroqs Gift, this choice became simpler. Extra jewelry slots are available for almost all characters; you dont need to research your own build or consider complex combinations. As long as you have sufficiently strong jewelry, this choice usually yields benefits.

This is where it most significantly affects the gameplay experience. A powerful skill or piece of equipment might only change a playstyle. But an enhancement that every character chooses changes the entire games build logic.

What Players Lose?

Many might think that high-level players, pursuing maximum damage, should naturally choose the strongest path, which is fine.

Thats true.

However, the fun of Path of Exile 2 has never been just about hitting the highest numbers. Many players enjoy the game because building a character is inherently valuable.

However, increasingly, when players encounter Passive Tree, their first reaction becomes: Are there any jewelrys here? Can I add another jewelry? Is there a way to obtain more jewelry?

When one option outweighs many others, the games creative space naturally decreases.

Solutions

I dont think simply nerfing jewelry in the upcoming Patch 0.5.5 will solve the problem. Jewels themselves should remain strong because they do provide a lot of build flexibility.

More needed and timely adjustments are an option to make jewelry a viable option for PoE 2 builds again.

Zahroqs Gift is the part that most needs reconsidering. Its problem isnt that the value is too high, but that it makes extra jewelry slots the default answer for the vast majority of characters.

The crafting method for 5-mod jewelry also needs to be changed. If players can consistently craft near-perfect jewelry, then other equipment and passive skill choices will find it difficult to compete.

The problem with PoE 2 isnt that jewels are too powerful; rather, as more and more builds need to revolve around the same system, players are truly losing their choices. If in the future, opening Passive Skill Tree for different characters reveals similar jewel paths, then no matter how high the jewel numbers are, the game will lose some of its creative fun.

Path of Exile 3.29 Curse of the Allflame Top 5 Meta Endgame Builds | Best Mapping and Bossing Characters
Path of Exile 3.29 Curse of the Allflame Top 5 Meta Endgame Builds | Best Mapping and Bossing Characters

Most players have likely finished the campaign in PoE 3.29 by now, made solid progress through the Atlas, and accumulated a healthy amount of currency. At this point, your league starter has probably fulfilled its purpose, and it's time to consider building a second character with exceptional endgame potential.

Below are the 5 strongest endgame builds available in Curse of the Allflame League. Each of them offers outstanding damage, survivability, and map-clearing speed, although several also require an enormous amount of currency to fully optimize.

Here are 5 best endgame builds:

  1. Ethereal Knives Golden Charlatan Elementalist
  2. Frostmage Mana Stacker Hierophant
  3. Strength Stacker Juggernaut
  4. Doryani's Prototype Spectre Necromancer
  5. Herald Stacker Autobomber Elementalist

1. Ethereal Knives Golden Charlatan Elementalist

A similar build actually existed during PoE 3,28 Mirage League, where players used Blade Vortex together with Minion Pact Support to maintain an incredible damage multiplier. However, Minion Pact was completely reworked in PoE 3.29, making that version of the build no longer possible.

Ethereal Knives is a physical spell that fires multiple daggers. In PoE 3.29, it received buffs to its base critical strike chance, damage effectiveness, and projectile speed, resulting in roughly a 35% increase to its base damage.

Golden Charlatan grants Shrine buffs, although it provides very few meaningful modifiers beyond that. Some Shrine effects significantly increase your movement speed, making map clearing much smoother.

To fully unlock the build's damage potential, you also need Original Sin, which allows Elementalist to convert its damage into Chaos Damage. Oriath's End is another essential unique flask because its explosions are also converted into Chaos Damage through Original Sin, dramatically improving your clear speed.

A Chaos The Light of Meaning jewel is another mandatory component. It not only pushes the explosion damage to an entirely different level but also greatly increases the damage of Ethereal Knives itself.

This build is extraordinarily demanding in terms of currency and can require thousands of Divine Orbs. It should never be assembled on a limited budget, and none of its core components should be omitted.

2. Strength Stacker Juggernaut

Strength Stacker Juggernaut combines Kinetic Blast of Clustering with Heavy Strike of Trarthus.

Kinetic Blast of Clustering is responsible for map clearing, offering phenomenal clear speed that allows you to effortlessly cut through even the most heavily juiced content.

The build's biggest weakness is its single-target damage, but this issue is completely solved by swapping weapons and switching to Heavy Strike of Trarthus for boss encounters.

Both skills benefit from exactly the same scaling, including Strength, Accuracy, Attack Speed, Spell Damage, and Critical Strike Chance.

As a result, simply switching skills transforms one of the strongest mapping abilities in the game into a devastating boss killer with roughly 30 times more single-target damage.

The obvious drawback is the massive investment required. Besides Mageblood, you will also need a large amount of PoE currency to craft highly specialized attribute-scaling gear. Ultimately, this build's performance scales directly with the level of investment.

3. Frostmage Mana Stacker Hierophant

Frostmage Support is one of the new additions introduced in Path of Exile 3.29. It grants added Cold Damage based on the amount of Mana you have reserved. At the same time, Reclaimed Malevolence allows you to continue casting even after your Mana has been completely depleted.

This build also relies on The Golden Charlatan. While its random Shrine buffs are certainly powerful, the truly valuable modifier is the one that grants +1 to Maximum Mana for every 2 Intelligence. This alone can provide several thousand additional Mana.

Hierophant Ascendancy offers numerous powerful Mana-related bonuses. For example, Sanctuary of Thought grants additional Energy Shield based on a percentage of your maximum Mana while also increasing your Area of Effect.

The goal of this build is to stack as much Mana as possible. The result is a character with incredible damage output backed by exceptionally strong defenses, making it an excellent choice for players who enjoy efficient mapping.

4. Doryani's Prototype Spectre Necromancer

This is a pure endgame minion build centered around stacking a large army of Spectres. Most versions run around 10 to 14 damage-dealing Spectres alongside several utility Spectres that provide powerful auras such as Determination, Grace, and Haste.

Doryani's Prototype drastically reduces enemies' Lightning Resistance, allowing your Spectres to deal tremendous amounts of additional damage.

Defensively, the build combines Purity of Ice, Sublime Vision, and Watcher's Eye to convert all incoming Fire and Lightning Damage into Cold and Chaos Damage. This means you no longer need to stack Fire or Lightning Resistance while also gaining excellent protection against encounters such as Uber Bosses and Nightmare Maps.

Building this defensive setup requires a tremendous amount of PoE currency. However, for players who enjoy minion builds, especially the low-input Spectre playstyle with minimal button presses, it is one of the most rewarding long-term investments.

5. Herald Stacker Autobomber Elementalist

This build revolves around Herald of the Hive by stacking Herald effects and using Ignite Proliferation to automatically eliminate entire packs of monsters while moving through maps with movement skills.

Once the first enemy dies, the explosions and Ignite spread throughout the entire pack, creating the smooth autobomber gameplay that clears screens of monsters without sacrificing meaningful single-target damage.

One of the core components is Venarius' Astrolabe, which requires all six Influence types: Shaper, Elder, and the four Conquerors, Hunter, Redeemer, Warlord, and Crusader. You will also need to craft several double-influenced items around this unique.

Once all of its requirements are fulfilled, every source of damage you deal can Freeze, Shock, and Ignite. In practice, this grants the benefits of Shaper of Flames, Shaper of Winter, and Shaper of Storms simultaneously.

This build is an outstanding choice for players looking for extremely fast automated map clearing while still maintaining excellent boss damage and a complete endgame defensive package.

Although most of these builds require an enormous amount of currency, they represent some of the strongest options available in terms of both offense and defense. Once fully assembled, they deliver one of the smoothest and most satisfying endgame experiences PoE 3.29 has to offer.

Path of Exile 2 Patch 0.5.5 Release Predictions | What to Expect from the Last Major Update before 1.0?
Path of Exile 2 Patch 0.5.5 Release Predictions | What to Expect from the Last Major Update before 1.0?

Path of Exile 2 Patch 0.5.0 may continue for around half a year until the official 1.0 release is announced. This will be an extremely long waiting period.

However, the good news is that the official team has not completely abandoned Runes of Aldur League during these several months. PoE 2 Patch 0.5.5 will be a major update, although it will most likely not reach the scale of a new league.

Confirmed Update Content

Independent Economy Event

At the end of Path of Exile 2 Patch 0.5.4 preview video, the official team clearly confirmed that Patch 0.5.5 will be the final major patch before version 1.0. It will launch alongside a one-month event league featuring a completely new economy system.

This independent league will operate separately from the current Runes of Aldur League, and PoE2 currency from the existing league cannot be used in this event. Characters created in the current league will not be affected and players can continue playing them normally.

This event league may also include exclusive content that will not appear in Runes of Aldur League. Its structure could be somewhat similar to PoE 1's Legacy of Phrecia League, although the official team has not revealed any major details about the event yet.

Large-Scale Balance Adjustments

The official team has also confirmed that the core focus of Patch 0.5.5 will be a complete balance overhaul, which will account for around two-thirds of the development workload.

A large number of skill values and mechanics will be adjusted, and new skills and Unique items may also be introduced. Atlas Passive Tree will also receive redesigns and improvements.

Chaos Damage system and Ignite-related Damage Over Time effects will receive significant buffs, especially benefiting Acolyte of Chayula Ascendancy.

Beyond numerical adjustments, the development team will also improve skill responsiveness, animations, and sound effects to ensure that combo-based gameplay feels more impactful and rewarding. They hope players will feel that skill usage is smoother and provides a stronger sense of reward.

Potential Content That May Be Added

During interviews, the development team mentioned that there are many features they hope to add before version 1.0. Some of them may be introduced or tested in Patch 0.5.5.

Act 4 Improvements

The development team acknowledged that Act 4 has received fewer changes in the past, partly because there was not enough player feedback. As more players replay this chapter, they expect to gather clearer information about its shortcomings and plan to make targeted improvements in future patches.

New Ascendancy Classes

The development team previously mentioned plans to unlock all Ascendancy classes for existing characters. During the 0.5.5 patch period, the third Ascendancy for Ranger or the third Ascendancy for Druid could potentially be introduced first.

This possibility comes from comments made by the official team in interviews before the launch of Runes of Aldur League, so there is a certain chance that it could happen.

As for releasing an entirely new class such as Marauder, the possibility appears lower. The official team has stated that even the 1.0 release may not include all 12 classes, as completing the campaign and endgame experience remains the higher priority.

Legacy League

Jonathan mentioned that they may draw inspiration from Path of Exile 1's Legacy of Phrecia League by combining and remixing older or abandoned concepts into special entertainment content for a league.

This type of content requires a shorter development cycle and is mainly intended to encourage players to test character builds again under a new balance environment, rather than becoming a permanent core mechanic.

Release Date Prediction

If Patch 0.5.5 is treated as a new league, its release timing may be close to the usual league schedule.

PoE 2 Patch 0.5.0 was released on May 29, which can be considered part of the June timeline. Therefore, if Patch 0.5.5 includes a large amount of new content, players may need to wait at least three months before its arrival.

Gamescom

It is worth noting that Gamescom will take place from August 26 to August 30 this year, and the official team has already confirmed attendance. They usually use the event to showcase and test upcoming content in advance. For example, Druid was already revealed during Gamescom 2023.

Patch 0.5.5 will most likely receive its official announcement during the event, and the official team may use the platform to build anticipation or reveal the release date. The earliest possible release window could be from early to mid-September 2026.

ExileCon

If the official team plans to announce version 1.0 at ExileCon in November and release 1.0 in December, Patch 0.5.5 could potentially arrive around October so that the event league can conclude around the time of ExileCon. However, this would create a very long gap after Patch 0.5.4, making this scenario less likely.

While PoE 2 Patch 0.5.5 won't introduce a new endgame mechanic, the numerous balance adjustments and new independent leagues will significantly impact the economy of Runes of Aldur League. Additionally, some elements of the independent leagues may be integrated into the core gameplay when PoE 2 is officially released. Let's wait for more official announcements.

Path of Exile 3.29.2 Didn't Touch This Cast on Crit Bladefall Blade Blast Assassin | Here's Why it's Still the Best Endgame Build This League
Path of Exile 3.29.2 Didn't Touch This Cast on Crit Bladefall Blade Blast Assassin | Here's Why it's Still the Best Endgame Build This League

Players, since the significant adjustments to Assassin in Path of Exile, this class is no longer as niche as it once was. Today, we're introducing a Cast on Critical Strike Assassin build that not only enables one-click Lancing Steel, but also automatic tilting of Bladefall and Blade Blast, and the new Patch 3.29.2 released on August 5th did not weaken this build in any way!

Mechanism of Operation

Having chosen Assassin as the core of the build, we'll construct the spell loop around Cast on Critical Strike support gem.

The attack skill chosen is Lancing Steel, which triggers Blade Blast and Bladefall spell combo through its high-frequency projectile hits.

Compared to channeling skills like Cyclone, Lancing Steel's projectile mechanism, combined with server refresh rate and critical hit detection, means that the ratio of attack speed to Cooldown Recovery Rate doesn't need to be extremely precise. The operation only requires pressing the attack button to maintain spell tilt, significantly lowering the performance barrier.

Equipment Affix Priorities

Weapons

For weapon bases, Battered Foil and Burnished Foil are the best choices, with affixes that increase critical strike chance and attack speed being the primary focus.

Later in PoE 3.29.2, players can further add critical strike damage bonuses or spell damage prefixes using Harvest Crafting or PoE currency.

Helmet & Armor

For helmets and armor, prioritize maximum life as the primary defensive affix, followed by a composite base of Evasion Rating and Energy Shield, and upgrade with Essences of Loathing.

Shield

The shield base for this CoC Bladefall Blade Blast Assassin build must have Spell Suppression affix, and it's best to also pair it with Life and Defense.

If resistances are sufficient, suffixes can be used to gain double damage chance through crafting as a damage boost for this build.

Amulet

For amulets, choose Focused Amulet and proceed with high-level crafting like the weapon. However, players should note that Imprints in the current Path of Exile cannot affect already split items. These limitations increase the difficulty of crafting equipment involving splitting.

Rings

For rings, prioritize Ming's Heart. If you have a high-level version, the +1 Power Charge affix is ideal.

Body Armour

A rare version of Body Armour uses Skin of the Lords with Mind Over Matter keystone passive skill.

An alternative is Cloak of Defiance with a +1 to all skill levels, combined with an Empower support gem, achieving a similar effect.

Belt

Regarding belt selection, players should be particularly careful, as Headhunter's Guaranteed Critical Hit affix conflicts with the Bifurcate mechanic provided by Assassin Ascendancy Passive Mystical Infusion.

This mechanism requires two separate rolls for critical hits. If an attack is forcibly judged as a critical hit, a second roll cannot be performed, resulting in a loss of approximately 80% of the damage bonus.

Therefore, while Headhunter provides a significant defensive boost in PoE 3.29.2, it is essentially a damage-boosting item with negative returns. The optimal solution is still Mageblood, or using a regular rare belt with Cooldown Recovery Rate suffix to increase Assassin's skill trigger frequency.

Passive Skill Tree

As mentioned above, we should select Mind Over Matter early in the core path of Passive Skill Tree. However, if our body armor is equipped with Cloak of Defiance, we can cancel this skill and insert an additional set of Large Cluster Jewels to increase Assassin's damage.

Key passives for Cluster Jewels include Overwhelming Malice, Pressure Points, and Basics of Pain. For Medium Cluster Jewels, Grim Oath and Unwavering Evil combination is preferred.

It's worth mentioning that the newly released Path of Exile 3.29.2 fixes the bug where Cluster Jewel attribute affixes could not be rerolled. This means you can more easily optimize your ideal affix combinations on Large Cluster Jewels, further reducing the cost of building this Assassin build.

Another essential keystone passive skill is Eldritch Battery, as it plays a crucial role in the survival of CoC Bladefall Blade Blast Assassin.

Core Jewels

First, all jewels used in this build must contain life-related affixes as a foundation for survival.

For The Light of Meaning, choose Chaos Damage or a physical damage variant, but the former has a relatively lower PoE currency cost.

The combination of Forbidden Flame and Forbidden Flesh can initially be chosen from Assassin Notable Ascendancy passives such as Mystical Infusion, Deathmarked, or Mistwalker.

If players have sufficient computer performance, they can choose Perfect Crime node, which allows the triggered spell to cast twice, thus doubling the effective life regeneration in conjunction with the hit-based life regeneration and other mechanics in this build.

Survival System

CoC Bladefall Blade Blast Assassin can use Eldritch Battery to make Energy Shield a priority resource, protecting mana and enabling sustained combat in conjunction with the hit-based life regeneration and shield mechanics. During the boss's vulnerable phases, we can maintain Assassin's health using Chaos Damage leech and the cumulative healing from multiple hits.

PoE 3.29.2 also fixed an issue where From Below could cause skills that continuously drain mana to break abnormally when mana was 0. For this build that relies on Eldritch Battery for resource management, this means that skill rotation and survivability have been given additional stability.

However, the biggest threat comes from the boss's invulnerability transition animations or single instances of extremely high physical damage. In these situations, we need to manually activate Vaal Grace (vaal aura) or Steelskin to avoid damage.

Spell Suppression and Evasion Rating we've stacked, combined with the extra evasion chance provided by the Grace aura, significantly reduce the probability of Cast on Crit Bladefall Blade Blast Assassin being hit, further increasing the build's survivability.

Overall, this build has a very complete health system, more than enough to survive in any high-difficulty content in the game.

In short, the latest Patch 3.29.2 not only did not weaken Cast on Crit Bladefall Blade Blast Assassin, but also indirectly improved the smoothness of the game experience by fixing some bugs!
